actually it was closer to 4-5 inches last night, on top of a couple inches earlier this week. somewhere beneath all the white stuff is a big mess--various junk, rusty metal and found objects that i was sorting when the first snow hit. sadly it would have to snow another foot to hide the rest of the crap (er, treasures!) still visible on my porch.
